Aerolite Cycle Candle Lamp

The starting point for lamps on cycles was the candle lamp quickly followed by oil and then carbide. The candle lamp contained a candle in a spring loaded tube which just pushed it up as it burned. Simple by effective.

This early one is a Aerolite and would date from around 1890.
