| Notable history: | The Crypto company saw the
future of cycling in front wheel drive machines. They had been
producing gearing for Ordinaries (Penny Farthings) for while which
had seen the overall wheel size reduce and went on to produce their
first crypto Bantam in 1895. The Alpha Bantam was produced in
1899/1900 supposedley with alarger more robust frame. Unfortunately
they new caught on and the last machines were produced in 1900. |
